Adverbs

Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. They often tell how, when, and where.

We walked quietly down the hallway. I hiccuped loudly. Everyone laughed quietly.

The test is right now. I wish the test were later. Maybe we can have the test tomorrow.

Bring the paper here. Put the paper there. She put the paper upstairs.
